TaskAlpha coordinates a global network of contributors executing structured data collection across multiple programs. Raw, continuous, real-world footage — collected systematically, quality-controlled through two-tier review, and delivered at program scale.
TaskAlpha is new. The contributors joining now are the founding layer of the network — the people who set the standard. Earn for real-world recordings from your own home, on your own schedule. No acting. No scripts.
Building robots, embodied AI, foundation models, or automation systems? We run the full pipeline — contributor recruitment, qualification, assignment, two-tier quality review, and delivery. You define the scope. We execute.
Every contributor is assigned to a specific project with its own scope, unit of production, and quality standards. Nothing is open-ended.
Before personal details are collected, applicants complete a project-specific technical qualification. A short qualification clip (under 15 seconds) is automatically validated before any human reviews it.
All submissions pass through Tier 1 (recording validity + clip editing) and Tier 2 (content integrity + duplicate detection). Payment only releases after both tiers approve.
QC operates at the dataset level, not per file. Duplicate detection, behavioral monitoring, and an explicit fraud policy protect data quality at scale.
Submit a short qualification clip (under 15 seconds) meeting technical spec. Auto-validated before human review. Fail = specific feedback + one retry.
Once qualified: personal info, residency verification (cross-checked against geolocation), payment setup, agreements.
Approved contributors are assigned to projects matching their environment profile, device capability, and geography.
Submit recordings. Two-tier review: Tier 1 validates and clips. Tier 2 checks integrity. Payment follows two-step approval.
Compensation based on accepted duration after Tier 1 editing. Ops approves batch before any payment is processed.
Each project runs independently with its own scope, unit of production, contributor criteria, and compensation structure. Client identities may be confidential — codenames are used in all contributor-facing materials.
Home environment data collection. Egocentric video of household chores and indoor manipulation — cleaning, cooking, object handling, domestic routines in real home settings.
3D scene capture for world model training. Orbital iPhone video of real-world environments — streets, markets, transit, parks, interiors. Two-pass capture protocol with gimbal. Static scenes, 60–90 sec per scene.
Premium egocentric data collection using a professional head-mounted rig. Operator-collectors deploy a Luxonis OAK-D Pro W stereo depth + RGB + IMU camera on a head-mount harness and perform natural, task-based activities across real-world environments. Global applications open.
Senscient AI’s proprietary training dataset. Mixed-environment egocentric collection — home chores and indoor tasks alongside outdoor and real-world activity. Broad scene coverage.
Nova is a premium egocentric video collection program for professional rig operator-collectors. The phone-based qualification specification does not apply — Nova uses a dedicated head-mounted hardware rig. Global applications are open. Qualification is assessed via a structured onboarding interview and equipment verification process.
Gaia uses an orbital 3D scene capture protocol — not head-mounted egocentric recording. Contributors use an iPhone (14 or newer) on a gimbal to record two-pass orbits around static real-world scenes. The qualification pathway will be published when the project scope is confirmed.
Applicants for Vega and Auriga submit a link to a short qualification clip. Automatically checked for technical criteria, then human-reviewed for mount, hands, and content. Personal details collected only after this step passes.
Applications are reviewed manually. Qualification is required before personal details are collected. Not all applicants are accepted.
Choose the project you are applying to. Pathway, equipment, and qualification requirements vary by project.
Submit your qualification information. Requirements vary by project. Your personal details are collected only after this step passes.
Nova does not use a clip submission pathway. Applicants are assessed via a structured onboarding interview and equipment verification process. After submitting this application, the Nova operations team will contact you to schedule your onboarding session. Ensure you have access to the required rig hardware — or confirm your ability to procure it — before applying.
Identity, residency, and contact information. Residency is cross-checked against your detected geolocation.
Used to match you to suitable project assignments. The more environments you can record in, the more assignments you will receive.
Minimum: 1080p at 30fps. Device specs determine which project assignments you qualify for.
Read all agreements carefully. Full countersigned documents are sent post-approval. A per-project contributor agreement will be required before your first assignment.
Your qualification video is under review. You will receive a decision within 3–5 business days. Project assignment and per-project agreements follow approval.

The text below is the complete instruction set for contributors. Copy and send via Discord or email at the start of each program.
You are recording video episodes for a structured data collection program. This means wearing a phone on your head using a headband mount and recording your normal daily activity. The camera runs continuously. You go about your usual routine.
This is data collection only — not annotation, not labeling, not content creation. You do not describe, tag, or evaluate anything. You record. That is the work.
All submissions pass through two independent review stages before acceptance. Payment is only triggered after both tiers pass and ops approves the payment batch.
Validates recording validity. Reviewer assesses format, resolution, continuity, mount stability, egocentric angle, and privacy. Reviewer may edit submissions — trimming extraneous content to produce an accepted clip. Payment is based on accepted duration after editing, not submitted duration. Original file is preserved. Edits are logged with timestamps, reviewer ID, and accepted duration.
Operates at the dataset level, not per file. Checks for duplicate content (same material from same or different contributors), behavioral signals of non-original footage, and submission pattern anomalies. Reviewer is trained on fraud signals and has a documented escalation path.
Diversity is managed at the assignment level. Contributors are briefed on environment type and conditions before recording. The system tracks coverage and adjusts briefs to fill gaps. No labeling or tagging happens at the contributor level.

Upon termination, you retain no right to access the Platform and all outstanding payment obligations are subject to review.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Where a Project agreement conflicts with these Terms, the Project agreement prevails for that Project.
